Due to his tenacity for tackling rogue companies and cowboy tradespeople combined with his passion for solving consumer problems he currently has one of the busiest schedules in TV. After investigating and reporting on many companies and bad traders Dominic has an extensive knowledge on their tricks, scams & the cons used each day by unscrupulous scam artists .. His programmes include Cowboy Builders (now in its 10th series), The One Show - since day 1 of launch, Don't Get Done, Get Dom now on its 10th series, Caught Red Handed, Saints & Scroungers, Fake Britain, Beat the Burglar, Wrong car, Right car.

Dominic was born by the coast in Leigh on sea, Essex and amongst his many hobbies are sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, wake boarding, knee boarding and snow skiing. He thrives on all challenges, after competing in the BBC's first ever Celebrity Total Wipeout in Argentina, he was narrowly beaten to 2nd place by just 1 second. He took part in BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing series 5 and made it through to the sixth round but gladly admits dancing was never going to be his forte. Always up for a challenge he competed the RideLondon 100 mile cycle race for charity in an amazing 5 hours 31 minutes..

In 2011 he discovered prostate cancer and due to its early diagnosis was treated and now 100% cured. In May 2017 Dominic took part in ITV's The Real Full Monty where he stripped totally naked in front of the cameras and 2500 people at The London Palladium, it was ITV's highest rating programme of the year and the Prostate `Cancer website crashed with so many enquiries.

Doms  has been a type 1 diabetic for 42 years and has witnessed many changes in the NHS and procedures relating to his condition, he regularly gives talks on the subject.

After an accident on a remote island in Australia while back packing around the world aged 25 he broke his neck, Dominic then made his own 28 hour journey to hospital where he underwent a spinal fusion of his C5 vertebrae and went on to make a full recovery.

He wrote a monthly column for Top Gear magazine for many years and also for various magazines & newspapers including The Telegraph and the UK's number one diabetic magazine Balance and his own book titled Don't get Done, Get Dom which gives  consumer advise to the public.

A keen Motorcyclist and a passionate lover of American cars he has  imported both new and second hand cars from the USA and knows the procedure of transportation, shipping, duty, tax ,clearing customs and arranging for their SVA (single vehicle approval) prior to being allowed on UK roads.
